A teacher is someone who shapes the foundation of a child’s life, instills values, teaches discipline, and prepares them for the future. But when a teacher themselves crosses boundaries, abandons peace, and chooses aggression, we are forced to ask – is such a person truly fit to be a teacher?
Recently, an incident in a newly developed residential society made the whole community reflect deeply. A so-called teacher lost her temper simply because a car was momentarily parked near the society gate. Although the path was clear and there was ample space for other vehicles to pass, she raised her voice unnecessarily and created a scene out of nothing.
When someone tried to approach her calmly and peacefully, she became even more aggressive and began spreading false claims – stating that traffic congestion was caused by that car. In truth, no such congestion occurred. The matter didn’t stop there – her husband also came outside, and without understanding the facts, began speaking rudely and disrespectfully, defending his wife blindly.
When another neutral society member intervened to calm things down, he acknowledged that this couple is known for their quarrelsome nature. Other residents also shared that such behavior is not new from them.
The Questions That Arise Are…
🔹 Are such people truly suitable for the role of a teacher?
🔹 Will the children of tomorrow learn that shouting and anger – not peace – is the way to resolve issues?
🔹 In a cultured society, can such aggressive individuals be trusted with the responsibility of shaping others?
🔹 And if a person is so desperate to prove themselves right that they even twist the facts of the past, can we say they possess moral integrity?
What Should Peaceful People Do?
Those who believe in peace must continue to choose calmness even when confronted with unfair and aggressive behavior. Because the true test of character is not how loudly you speak, but how calmly you handle chaos.
It’s time society starts identifying such people and understands: being a teacher or a doctor isn’t just about having a degree – it’s about embodying values, self-control, and setting the right example.
In conclusion, the one who nurtures future generations should be a unifier, not a divider. Incidents like this are not just personal – they reflect what kind of people are shaping our community’s future.
